The clients loved tropical plants but still wanted to keep
the space feeling open and not overgrown, therefore the idea
of a plantation came to mind. The space is mainly used for
entertaining and partying in the summer months. The couple
did not have children and so ruled out a lawn completely.
It was important that the garden be able to be used in all
weathers. A later addition would be a sail canopy and patio
heating.
