This is a feature in a very large garden in the West Norwood area that makes use of a previously unused part of the garden
The use of wildlife plants and ferns creates both a tropical and woodland feel.
The use of recycled logs to create both stepping stones and also as a retainer for the planting beds creates interest and is ideal for attracting wildlife.
The existing trees provide and ideal canopy for the area and help to create a micro-environment to promote plant growth.
Bulbs have been used throughout the area and these will provide sweeping colour in the Spring and Summer.
The use of chipped bark helps to pull together the various elements of this project and again provides protection for younger plants.
