The Raised Garden

 
 
   
 
  • This is a large terraced house in the Herne Hill area with a small rear garden.
  • Due to the size of the garden maximizing the available space to take full advantage of the sun was the key consideration.
  • The space is fully utilised by the introduction of raised planting areas on three sides. The planting is bold and incorporates numerous structural plants with large foliage. Under-planting provides additional detail and when in bloom all-year colour.
  • To reduce maintenance the garden also incorporates an irrigation system.
  • The lush planting is enhanced by the stainless steel lightning against a blue fence backdrop.
  • The garden also incorporates two block paved areas at the front and rear of the garden.
