- This is a semi-detached house in Herne Hill and is one of the most unique designs created by us.
- The main feature on this back garden is the central area which incorporates a seating area constructed on steel-mesh gabions filled with white.grey flint. The seating is made from new scaffold boards that have been planed and treated.
- Surrounding the gabions, the earth has been banked to form a half circle and then planted with sedum, the area is frames on all sides using reclaimed sleeps which have been graduated in-line with the bank.
- Over the rear of the property is a pergola that was commissioned by the client, it has a random inter-lacing design of steel rods that has been weathered to give the pergola a rusted look. A deck running along the back of the property was again constructed on planed scaffold boards.
- Planting is dense and combines a large range of mature grasses as well as hot colours. Small pathways provide access around the central area and the planting boarders.
