  • This end of terrace Victorian house required an off-street parking solution that would blend with the character of the property.
  • Creating a gravel driveway provides a low-maintenance solution. The driveway is edge with granite kerb-setts that provide a striking barrier between the gravel and the footpath.
  • Planting was introduced by creating raised beds retained with charcoal rope edging, again adding elegance to the final design.
  • As the standard trees and under-planting mature, the edges of the beds will be softened providing a natural focal point for the driveway.
  • The footpath to the front-door has been replaced with a green Indian sandstone paving that also leads to the rear garden.
